Arts & Craft Vendors

Our goal is to provide a balanced show that showcases handmade/handcrafted arts and crafts and diversity of types by the applying artist. Although we work towards having varied types as a principal objective, the North Carolina Apple Festival does not establish a quota in any category. Please review category definitions carefully. (Catalog or home based sales products do not qualify.)

Machine tooling, machine screened patterns or miscellaneous forms of mass production are NOT permitted. No factory produced wearable items, regardless of additional modification or enhancement by the artists, will be accepted.

food Vendors

Each year, we will have a limited number of open spaces for both cooking and non-cooking food vendors for the North Carolina Apple Festival.

There are two types of Food Vendors at the North Carolina Apple Festival: Regular Food Vendors are vendors who prepare and/or serve food on-site during the Festival; Pre-Packaged Food Vendors are those who sell prepared and packaged food off-site and are ready to sell to festival attendees. Examples would include food items such as jars of honey, sauces, dips, fudge or baked goods.

We limit the number of Pre-packaged Food Vendors each year and may have a lottery based on the number of applicants.

The fees are $100 for just handing out information and $200 for those who are selling merchandise, tickets or other items. You may not sell or give away screen printed t-shirts, hats, or water. Any raffle items must be approved by the Apple Festival before being allowed at the Festival.
